The Chevrolet Camaro has long been the backbone, in making up IMSA grids. From virtually showroom stock to wild, be-winged and arched big-block monsters with tube-frame chassis, they have been there from the very beginning of the series. There are many variants and it would be truly impossible to name them. The main problem with these big-block engines was the drivetrain. The transmission could simply not cope with the power generated by those engine-tuners.
