Anatoly Arutunoff
He became fascinated with cars when he was a toddler, and his entire life revolver around cars. He began with a motorbike, as many did, and he began cruising along his native town, which was Bartlesville, Oklahoma. His family emigrated from Russia, and his father was an figure in the oil industry, which meant that when they came to the USA, they had a somewhat comfortable lifestyle. His actual interest in cars grew up when he was in his teens, and he would purchase cars very soon, which led him to his very first Porsche. This very first sportscar made him feel the need to go racing. He began racing in 1959 in his Porsche Carrera Speedster. It was in Stuttgart, Arkansas. By That time, everyone could go racing and have fun, and he would indulge in many types of cars. He drove Abarths, Lotuses, Chevrolet Corvettes, Porsches and also the un famous Lancia Stratos. He also built his own race track in Hallett, Oklahoma. His IMSA career span for a decade, as he began driving a Lotus Europa, then the famous Lancia Stratos, which he was the only proponent. Although clearly underpowered, this car became a familiar sight on the IMSA circuit, and he would grab some fine results with his hate-love car.

Toly Arutunoff face was a familiar sight in IMSA.
